PATIALA, Punjab—After five days of police remand, Punjab Police today presented Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara before Patiala Court. The Court again sent Bhai Tara for police remand for three days longer.
Bhai Tara was arrested in Thailand and extradited to India a few days ago. Along with Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora, Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana and some other Singhs, he was convicted in the Beant assassination case.
Along with Bhai Hawara and Bhai Bheora, he absconded by digging a tunnel from Burail Jail.
