AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Renowned Kirtani Singh of Akhand Kirtani Jatha Bhai Sahib Bhai Jiwan Singh, who passed away some days ago, was remembered by members of the organization and other Sikhs through a large-scale Kirtan Smagam at Bhai Gurdas Hall here.
Bhai Jiwan Singh was known to be a great Gursikh and Kirtani and Sikh sangat across the world loved him a lot. He was also very popular in sections of Sikhs related to the recent Sikh armed struggle. Sikh sangat participated in the Smagam in huge numbers and Kirtani Jathe sang Gurbani from the heart the whole day to remember Bhai Sahib.
