Gurmeet Ram rahim

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Chief of Sirsa Cult Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is already facing a CBI investigation for making more than 400 male devotees impotent in his cult, has been accused of compelling cult followers to commit suicide. Ram Kumar Bishnoi of Sirsa, who called himself the cult administrator, has filed a case against the cult chief for compelling him to commit suicide. In his statement, he said that the suicides inside the cult are committed only due to the cult chief.

Ram Kumar Bishnoi stated with the reference to female devotee Sonam Tyagi that she committed suicide in a hostel near the residence of the cult chief. He said that the cult chief always instigates his followers to commit suicide and then he also rewards them as “martyrs” in cult.

Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a notice to Sirsa Cult chief for 10 February. On the other side the Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh administration demanded more time to answer the suspicious armed trainings undergoing in their corresponding jurisdictions.
