JALANDAR, Punjab—Bikram Singh Majithia, Punjab’s revenue minister, said that he was being collegial with the central agency despite the short notice as he was eager to join the investigations to ensure the truth would be revealed before the people. Majithia stated that he had to act in a proactive way ever since he got the central agencies notifications December 19, 2014.
“I was engaged in a three day assembly session and there was a three day holiday also. I could have asked for and got an alternate date. However I decided not only to receive the summons on phone but also present myself before the agency at the first opportunity itself,” said Majithia. He further stated that he has always maintained from day one that the truth be revealed, and it was because of that in which he was so impatient for the investigations to speed up so that the truth could be revealed.
