AMBALA, Haryana—Senior BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal met with Bhai Gurubaksh Singh Khalsa yesterday at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib, Patshahi 10, near Ambala in Haryana. Grewal is amongst other BJP leaders who have visited Bhai Khalsa and shown solidarity with his struggle for the release of Sikh political prisoners who are languishing in jails across India.
Grewal was accompanied by a number of his supporters along with other BJP leaders from Punjab. He inquired about the deteriorating health of Bhai Khalsa.
Along with BJP leader, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh has continued to receive support from various different political and Sikh organizations.
Despite his ailing health, he has continued to struggle for the freedom of Sikh political prisoners who have completed their jail terms. According to his medical report from the 15th day of the hunger strike, his weight is 68.5 kgs. Blood sugar was at 106.
A road march from Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib is organized to take place tomorrow. Sikh motorists will start from Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib and continue to Akal Takht Sahib to raise voice and seek support for the campaign started by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa.
