AMRITSAR, Punjab—Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala (President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala) and Vice President Bhai Ranjit Singh aid in a press conference that rising attacks on Sikhs could be stopped only after the formation of independent Sikh-state. “Until Sikhs establish a sovereign Sikh state, organizations like the Rashtria Sikh Sangat will continue to claim Sikhs as a part of Hindus, and pseudo-cult leaders will continue mimicking our Gurus,” they added.
Bhai Gopala said that it is the time for the Panth to unite, so that we can move towards our destination Khalistan. “Khalistan will be a nation where secularism will be truly implemented. Distinction on the basis of caste, creed and color will be finished,” he added.
“Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale used to say that foundation stone of Khalistan will be laid when Government of India will attack Sri Harmandir Sahib,” reminded Ranjit Singh. He said that it was time for Sikhs to achieve their goal of sovereign Sikh state. A number of prominent Sikh youth were present at the press conference.
