With the emergence of the True Guru, Nanak,
the mist cleared,
the light scattered all around.
As if at sun rise,
the stars disappeared and the darkness dissipated.
With the roar of the lion in the forest,
flocks of escaping deer have lost their endurance.
Wherever Baba put his feet,
a religious place was built and established.
All the holy places have now been renamed
in the name of Nanak.
Every home has become a place of dharma,
where religious hymns are sung continuously.
Baba liberated all four direction
and nine divisions of earth.
The Guru’s voice has emerged
in this Kalyug,
the dark age.
