BJP Should Clear its Stand on Chandigarh, Says Captain Amarinder Singh

Capt_Amarinder_SinghPATIALA, Punjab—Captain Amarinder Singh commented on the demand being raised by Chief Minister Parkash Badal for transferring Chandigarh to Punjab. He said that this attitude of CM Badal is just a result of fear that their Government might break in the next days. He explained that the rude behavior of BJP leadership with Badal on the oath ceremony of Chief Minister of Haryana, made Badal scared that BJP might break alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). That is why CM Badal is trying to sing the same song of BJP.

Captain Amarinder Singh also asked BJP to clear their stand about Chandigarh. He said that he is very well familiar with the policies of Badal. If Badal will remain unsuccessful in looting the Chandigarh issue, he will start reciting his traditional slogan “the Panth is in danger.” He alleged that Badal can do anything, regardless of whether it is in favor or against the people of Punjab, for saving his government.

Captain said that CM Badal is just drowning crocodile tears, because due to the Punjab state agitation organized by the leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal, Punjab lost its huge part of land along with Chandigarh. He also said that that the Punjab leadership of BJP is asking for the transfer of Chandigarh to Punjab, but the Chandigarh leadership of BJP is opposing it straight forwardly. So, BJP needs to clear its stand on the issue of Chandigarh.
