Sikh Dharma International hosted the Jathedar’s visit, and arranged his program while he was in the United States. The Jathedar Sahib and Giani Ji addressed the International Khalsa Council, a leadership council of Sikh Ministers from around the world, on Saturday morning.

  1. Shanti Kaur Khalsa, a public-affairs specialist and a member of the team established to oversee the inquiry, says, “Just because the complaints are credible doesn’t mean they’re true. It’s a very complex situation. Honestly, in the 40 years I was around [Bhajan], I never had any indication that this was happening. So that’s hard to believe. I’m a very smart person, I’m intuitive, I’m a yogi, and I honestly didn’t see it. But that doesn’t mean we don’t do the right thing.” Khalsa confirmed that An Olive Branch received upwards of 36 reports from individuals who claimed harm at the hands of Yogi Bhajan, and it interviewed more than 300 members who either corroborated the accusations or defended Bhajan. Hard-line 3HO members seek to discredit Dyson’s allegations and claim the investigation is a farce. They have requested that a 3HO representative be allowed to advocate for Bhajan by obtaining access to all the allegation details—including the identities of the accusers. “Yogi Bhajan had a couple of sayings that really have now come into view for us. One was ‘Don’t love me, love the teaching’,” Khalsa says.

  2. Why not so much of a mention of the beadbi that this organization continually does? Who’s the benefactors of “Sikh24?”

  3. Not to mention their distortion of Gurbani and it’s use like yoga Mantras
They put their “teacher” above Guru ji I guess it’s anything for a buck with these guys

  4. Well said. Badal’s cloony will no doubt slick with like minded cults.
These officers of alkal thakhat are the downal of sikhi in INDIA and abroad.
$260000.00 Yearly Danwand Tax free Income is not a bad business.

  5. This is a recycled report from SikhNet extolling its dead master Yogi Bhajan. It begs the question why the Jathedar is so eager to cozy up to this controversial group, which has attracted attention from experts in fields ranging from social science to law enforcement. The four letter word for Yogi Bhajan’s Sikh Dharma is C-U-L-T.
Shame on Giani Ji to be cited as “working together to serve the mission” of Sikh Dharma. All their self-serving, made- up titles along with their goofy yoga must have really impressed the Jathedar. The rest of us take a much dimmer view of the so-called “sacred teachings” of Yogi Bhajan’s Sikh Dharma.

    • Hi Singh Out, I suggest you rather stay out of this and SS stop being a follower of Singh Out.

Both of you try getting up at 3 or 4 am very morning as a first step before throwing scorn at anyone.

It is people like you who create disunity amongst Sikhs.

These whites are converts into Sikhism and they follow the Guru Grant Sahib and have respect for the tenets of Sikhism.

      Akal Thakt is sacred.

Do not try to link Sikh Dharma with Badal and his cronies with your(Singh Out and SS)comments.

What is your problem with Sikh Dharma actually anyway?

Sikh religion is being attacked by RSS and Shiv Sena almost very other day.I suggest you both bring them to their senses since you love to leave comments.

Both the groups mentioned above are insecure that’s why their almost daily outburst on Sikh faith.
