DELHI, INDIA—Yesterday, on 7th August, Jagtar Singh Hawara was taken under high security from Tihar Jail to AIIMS hospital in New Delhi, where he underwent a long overdue MRI scan.
According to reports, 2 tests were carried out and only Police SP Balraj and 2 of his officers were allowed in the room at the time.
Jagtar Singh has been suffering from chronic pain in his back and leg for quite some time, which has been brought on by the torture and harsh conditions he has endured during the lengthy 19 years in prison.
After the MRI, Jagtar Singh conveyed a message of remembrance to the Sangat, in honour of Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Babbar, whose martyrdom is being commemorated this week, the world over.
