Simranjit Singh Mann to Contest Lok Sabha Election of Khadur Sahib Constituency

Bhai Dhian Singh MandLUDHIANA, Punjab—Sikh nationalist political party Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) of Amritsar, led by former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Simranjit Singh Mann, declared its list of nine candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Monday, March 3, 2014.

According to the list, party president Simranjit Singh Mann will contest the elections of Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. Other candidates are Master Karnail Singh Narike (Sangrur), Dharam Singh Klaur (Sri Fatehgarh Sahib), Darshan Singh Manuke (Fridkot), Talib Singh Sandhu (Ludhiana), Parminderpal Singh Shukarchakia (Sri Amritsar), Samsher Singh Maloa (Hoshiarpur), Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala (Bathinda), and Pyare Lal Kaler (Jalandhar).

While announcing candidates, Party senior vice president Bhai Dhian Singh Mand said that the party would announce candidates for the remaining constituencies of Punjab, and other neighboring states soon.
