VANCOUVER, BC, Canada—A trust fund has been opened to support the Dhanjal family of Surrey, who lost their mother Harbans Kaur, as well as their home, to a devastating fire. Gurbax Kaur Dhanjal and her father Iqbal Singh are currently in the burn unit at Vancouver General Hospital. Anyone wishing to support the tenant, Trevor Yellowbird, who was instrumental in saving the Dhanjals’ lives, can email [email protected]. Trevor is a single father of a two year old boy. He is looking to rent a two bedroom basement suite in Surrey, near to a skytrain station.
