Afghan Sikhs Ashamed at Beadbi

khalsadiwan_afghanistanLONDON, UK—A meeting took place this past week between members of the wider Sangat and quite a large number of prominent members from the Afghan Community. This was also attended by the UK representatives of Khalsa Diwan, an organisation originally formed in the 1980’s in Afghanistan to represent Sikhs in Afghanistan. The meeting was arranged as the result of countless phone calls and emails that had been received by the Sangat from members of the Afghan community across the UK highlighting their concerns as to how Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara, Southall and the Afghan Community as a whole were being portrayed to the wider sangat.
Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan has released a press statement condemning the actions of a few people from the Afghan Sikh community in Southall whom have been caught doing Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They said, “We take this opportunity to Thank You for exposing this Blatant Beadbi of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj by individuals unfortunately belonging  to our own community.

“The image of [the] Whole Afghan Sangat is being tarnished by the misdeeds of a few individuals of Afghan Community who must be made accountable for their misdeeds.”

The purpose of the meeting from the Sangat side was to explain in full detail (producing all relevant proofs) exactly what had been uncovered and raised to the Sangat worldwide. They also planned to answer any questions raised by anyone openly without fear. Sangat from the Afghan Community gave reassurance to the wider sangat that the real culprits would be singled out and sternly reprimanded by the members of their own Community. The following is the full statement issued by Khalsa Diwan and the Afghan Sangat from across the UK.

Respected Sadh Sangat JiWaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki FatehRecently the whole Sikh Panth has faced the turmoil of Beadbi of Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj by a handful of persons. The image of whole Panth is tarnished by a few who have repeatedly shown disrespect to Guru Granth Sahib Ji’ Swaroops.

Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan and the whole Afghan Sangat distances itself from these selfish and blasphemous individuals and thanks Sewadars & Media who have exposed these individuals. These culprits must be held accountable for their actions. The embarrassment they have got us in is causing shame to whole Afghan Sikh Sangat.

The elders and respectable persons of our community have been requested to seek explanation, apology and confirmation from these culprits that these misdeeds will never ever be repeated again by them.

  1. We Sikhs are not honest hence truth will never come out. We try to suppress the facts or destroy the evidence but always leaks part of information by the Grace of Guru Ji. Our Jathedars and Preachers are going away from Guru Nanak Dev Ji Philosophy and teaching (Bani), forcing us to worship the our Guru Ji “Guru Granth Sahib Ji” as they are interested to collect the congregation funds and use Sikh Religion (Gurdwara) as smuggling Platforms. We’re contaminated and greedy to lose self-respect and respect of Guru Ji in every Gurdwara hence no sensitivity for disrespect (Beadbi) of our Guru Ji. These types of BEADBI are periodically takes place in every Gurdwara.
We Sikhs take false OATHS, FALSE ALLEGATIONS on each other, BARK ON PODIUM, BEG ON PODIUM, SUPPRESS FACTS, PHYSICAL FIGHTS, MURDERs in Gurdwaras in presence (HAZAR NAZAR GURU JI) our final Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Specially Amritdhari and Khalsa those are created by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to protect the weak and our religion rights are the most criminals, disrespectful, not only take false Oaths but direct and guide for disrespect, fabricate evidence and witness to defame honest and dedicated Sikhs. My challenges to entire Sikh community that we’ll be losing more and more respect in the World as we’re losing protection from Amritdhari and Khalsa thugs. Present Amritdhari and Khalsa are proving SHOW CASE or SHELL of Sikh religion not force or core value of Sikh communities.
