JALLANDHAR, Punjab—Various Human Rights Organisations based in Punjab have decided to take forward the case of fake encounters to the High Court.  A crucial meeting was held this past Sunday by members of the Punjab Human Rights Organisation (PHRO), Khalsa Mission Organisation (KMO) and various other prominent human rights activists.

The decision has come after Surjit Singh, a Tarn Taran based Punjab Police officer made revelations that he had killed 83 Sikhs in fake encounters.  As per Surjit Singh’s statements, he was ordered by senior Punjab Police officers to do so.  Surjit has already filed a petition in the High Court regarding his claims.

In the meeting, it was discussed that a petition would be filed in the Supreme Court of India seeking orders for the CBI to investigate the claims of Surjit Singh and seek protection for him.  The petition would include testimonies of various families who lost their members in these fake encounters.  Family members of various Sikhs killed in such encounters were also present at the Sunday meeting.

Surjit Singh has alleged that his life is in danger ever since he decided to reveal the murderous face of the Punjab Police.

Although so far there has been no justice for the families of Sikhs killed in Punjab, the committee advisors pressed that if the murders in Gujarat could be probed, the same could be achieved in Punjab where mass scale murders were organized by the Government and the Punjab Police.

PHRO vice president Kirpal Singh Randhawa stated that it is a shame that the Punjab Government is refusing to hear the claims by Surjit Singh.  Senior Advocate S. Amar Singh Chahal asked for a judicial enquiry into the case.  He said it was hurting to see all political parties in Punjab keeping quiet over the issue.

  1. Most of the news are amazing that Sikhs do not want to work hard for their living and survival but wants to dig graveyards, create confusion/puzzle to divert attention from real time problems. All are bad humans from Amritsar Sikh taxi driver to Sikh Prime Minister of India and Sikh members settled abroad with false oaths including so called Khalistanies. Why we elect or select Punjab/India’s ex-policemen, officers to run our Sikh Temples/Gurdwaras/other organization in Europe and North America as we are not under any pressure or threat?
If you object or raise issue then Amritdharies stand up to cover the crimes of their reletive criminal ex-punjab police employee or officer, take out swords and ready to pick up fight. We Sikh are contaminated by birth hence do not obey our Gurus, do not follow their advice and wrapped up in false pride, false allegations, smuggling, we write the by-laws and do not implement the by-laws or over-ride. There are most important issues in hand with Sikh communities and its members to address that degrades entire Sikh community members and earn disrespect for our Gurus, our leaders do not want to pay attention but beat around the bushes to create more confusions. I was listening from childhood that if someone is born bastard then we’ll send to police department, now many are born bastard hence go to Police, law school, politics and religion organizations to take false oaths, false witness, bully, threat, loot, harass, torture, rape, smuggle, allegations and entangle in fabricated cases to innocent Sikh members.
The new Sikh generation members are walking away with bad experience of Gurdwara’s daily behaviour of long beard contaminated Sikhs. The length of beard is directly proportional to the depth of their crimes. There are no human rights in Sikh Society, Communities and religious places as contaminated Sikhs creating havoc for honest and hard working Sikhs. We’re confronting daily life in Europe and North America (Golden Countries) that we experienced during the childhood in Sikh dominated villages as Jungle rules. We Sikhs are blessed without commonsense and will be behaving like animals for ever until we wake up.

Is there any Sikh member or Sikh organization head in the entire universe; who would like to have open debates on any Sikhs burning issues?
